It’s love all over again

Well it’s certainly been nice in southern China, but now I’m back in the north where I belong (although I suppose I’m a southwesterner by blood). For my first meal in Beijing, I stuffed my face with noodles until my tummy just about burst. Yep, I’m definitely back north. Here for the next week, and already wishing I was staying longer. ♥

Hello from Shenzhen (深圳）

Since Facebook is blocked in the PRC, I’m using Tumblr to share random things, and feel free to ignore it. I just need somewhere to write.

I mostly obsess over Zelda, but there’s so much more to me than that. I also like to obsess over many other things.

I also obsess over 王力宏 (Wang Leehom). ♥

And it just so happens that my favorite American-born superstar is doing a concert in Shenzhen, where I am right now. Great, right?

But… he’s performing in ten days. And I’m leaving from Beijing in eighteen days… well that still gives me a good eight days in the city I love, with the people I love, right? Except I have a trip to Shanghai in five days to spend time with a good friend of mine, and it wouldn’t make much much sense to come back to Shenzhen and leave again.

It should make me feel good that I chose seeing my friends and family over my dearest Leehom, but it hurts so.

Someday, when all my dreams come true, I will see and hear him in person.

Also, it’s his birthday tomorrow! :)

Oh me, oh my. Yes. Please.
